If you’re sensitive, intuitive, or just feeling a bit lost, it’s natural to have a lot of questions before you reach out for support.
This page brings together the most common questions people ask me about my work as a Meraki guide, the Dream Method, Qi Gong, and how my coaching can support your healing and growth.
Take your time, breathe, and follow the questions that speak most to you.

I’m a Meraki guide, Qi Gong instructor, musician and sound healer with over 20 years in the mind–body–spirit world.
“Meraki” is a Greek word that means to do something with your whole soul, your heart and your creativity.
That is how I approach my work with clients – with presence, care and genuine respect for your sensitivity and your story.
A Meraki guide is someone who walks beside you as you reconnect with your true self.
I bring together:
Gentle coaching and reflective questions
Nervous system awareness and body-based practices
Spiritual understanding without dogma
Practical tools you can use in daily life

My role is not to “fix” you. It is to help you rediscover your own wisdom, power and aliveness.
Empaths and highly sensitive people
Spiritually aware women and men (often 35+)
People who feel numb, over-emotional, or disconnected from themselves
Those who feel spiritually lost, stuck in old patterns, or “off track” in life

The Dream Method is my 5-step process for deep inner transformation:
D – Discover what’s really going on under the surface
R – Realise the patterns and beliefs that hold you back
E – Embrace the parts of you that have been rejected or hidden
A – Actualise your new self-image and way of being
M – Master daily practices so the change lasts
It is designed especially for empaths and highly sensitive people who have tried to “fix” themselves logically, but know the real shift has to be emotional, energetic and embodied.
Traditional coaching often focuses mainly on goals, strategies and mindset. My approach weaves in:
Shadow work and emotional healing
Nervous system awareness and body-based practices
Spiritual perspective (without pushing beliefs on you)
Self-image work at a deep subconscious level
If you’d like to explore shadow work more deeply, you can start with my guide What Is Shadow Work? A Complete Guide.
This is not “push harder and hustle”. It is about becoming kinder, clearer and more aligned with who you really are.
No. I am not a psychotherapist, counsellor or psychiatrist, and my work does not replace medical or psychological treatment.
My coaching and energy work sit alongside those approaches. Some clients work with me while also seeing a therapist or other health professional. If you are currently under medical or psychiatric care, please speak with your provider about any new practices you plan to start.
The core Dream Method journey is usually 12 weeks. This gives us time to:
Stabilise your nervous system
Explore your shadow and self-image gently
Build new inner patterns and practices
Integrate changes into daily life
In some cases, clients continue with lighter ongoing support afterwards, but the main transformation is designed to unfold over those 12 weeks.
Not at all. You don’t have to identify as spiritual. You might just say:
“I know there’s more to me than this.”
“I’m tired of repeating the same patterns.”
“I want to feel like myself again.”
If you are open-minded, sensitive and willing to do gentle inner work, we can usually find a way of working that fits you.
Yes. Many of my clients are HSPs who have never been shown how to live in a way that honours their sensitivity.
A good starting point is my cornerstone guide, What Is a Highly Sensitive Person?
In sessions, we look at:
Nervous system awareness and regulation
Boundaries that feel kind but firm
How to stop taking on everyone else’s emotions
Building daily routines that support your sensitive nature
Very much so. Empaths often carry:
Other people’s pain
Old family roles (“the fixer”, “the peacemaker”)
Deep guilt when they try to set boundaries
We work gently with shadow parts, early wounds, and your body’s signals so you can stay compassionate without burning out. If you’d like a deeper read around this, my emotional healing cornerstone may support you: Emotional Healing & Emotional Trauma: The Complete Guide
Do we have to go into my childhood trauma?
We go at your pace.
Some people feel ready to look at childhood experiences and inner-child work. Others need to stabilise their nervous system and day-to-day life first.
I will never force you to revisit memories you are not ready to explore. We always prioritise safety, resourcing and the present moment.
Will this work make me more emotional or overwhelmed?
In the beginning, becoming more aware can feel intense. That is why we work with:
Short, simple practices
Grounding and self-soothing tools
Clear agreements about pacing and boundaries
Over time, most people feel less overwhelmed, not more. You feel more “in your body”, clearer, and better able to ride emotional waves without drowning in them.
Qi Gong is an ancient energy practice combining gentle movement, breath, focus and sometimes sound.
It can help you:
Calm your nervous system
Release tension from the body
Improve energy levels and sleep
Feel more grounded and connected
If you’d like an introduction, you can explore my article Qi Gong for Emotional Healing: Move, Breathe, Release
No. Qi Gong is very adaptable. Movements can be done:
Standing, sitting on a chair, or even smaller if you have limited mobility
At your own pace, without strain
We focus on how your body feels, not on perfect shapes.
I feel spiritually lost and disconnected. Is that something you support?
Yes. Many people come to me feeling spiritually numb, angry with life, or confused by their awakening.
You might find reassurance in my guide Spiritually Lost: Complete Guide.
In one-to-one work, we bring together:
Nervous system grounding
Gentle inquiry and shadow work
Practical steps to reconnect with meaning and direction
No spiritual experience is “too weird” to talk about. We keep it grounded and kind.
Do you use sound healing in sessions?
Sometimes, yes. Sound (voice, instruments, music) can be a powerful way to:
Relax the body
Shift stuck emotional energy
Support meditative or reflective states
We’ll only use sound work if it feels aligned for you.
You may be a good fit if:
You are sensitive, empathic or intuitive
You feel stuck, numb, overwhelmed, or spiritually dry
You’re open to a blend of coaching, body work and spiritual reflection
You want a gentle but honest guide, not a “quick-fix” guru
If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to reach out via the contact page and share a little about what you’re going through. We can then see whether it feels like a match.
The easiest way is to use the contact form on the website or reply to any email you’ve received from me.
Typically the steps are:
You share a little about what you’re facing.
If it looks like a fit, we arrange a free initial call.
We decide together whether to begin a 12-week journey or another form of support.
Do you work online, in person, or both?
Most coaching work is online, so I can support people in different parts of the UK and beyond.
I also teach Qi Gong in person through Bright Beings Academy and local community partners, but that is a separate strand of my work. This site (PeterPaulParker.co.uk) is primarily focused on coaching, emotional healing and spiritual guidance.
Do you work with people outside the UK?
Yes, time zones permitting.
As long as we can find a mutually convenient time for sessions, and you have a stable internet connection, we can usually work together online.
Do you offer single sessions, or only programmes?
The core Dream Method is a structured 12-week journey.
Occasionally I offer one-off or shorter sessions (for example, a “soul reconnection” session) if it’s clearly appropriate and safe to do so. If you’re drawn to working together but unsure of the format, simply contact me, and we can explore what might be best.
Many of my clients have trauma histories. Your safety matters. We work with:
Slow pacing and clear consent
Grounding and regulation practices
Respect for your limits – we can always pause or step back
However, if you are in acute crisis, actively self-harming, or experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms, you will need specialist medical or therapeutic support alongside (or instead of) this work.
Can you diagnose or treat mental health conditions?
No. I do not diagnose, prescribe or replace the role of a doctor, psychiatrist or therapist.
I support you with:
Emotional understanding and self-compassion
Nervous system skills
Spiritual and energetic perspective
Practical, soul-aligned changes in your life
What if I start feeling worse before I feel better?
Deep work can sometimes bring buried feelings to the surface. That’s why we:
Build in resourcing and self-care from the start
Keep communication open between sessions
Adjust the pace if things feel too intense
You are never “failing” if you struggle. It usually means something important is ready to be seen and held with more care.
Many of my clients have trauma histories. Your safety matters. We work with:
From there, you can explore related posts, journaling prompts and practical routines at your own pace.
Do you have any free tools or self-checks?
Yes, you’ll find various gentle guides and self-checks on the blog, such as:
These are not diagnostic tools, but they can give you language and insight to bring into coaching or therapy.
How can I stay in touch and hear about new content?
You can:
Visit the blog regularly for new articles
Join my email list when you see the option on relevant pages
Connect with me on social media (links are gradually being added to author sections across the site)
If you didn’t see your question answered here, please feel free to reach out via the contact page and share what you’re wondering about. Your question may be the one someone else was too shy to ask.
I look forward to connecting with again very soon.
Until then, be well and keep shining.
Peter. :)
