Meditation Can Help Solve Problems
Yes, it is true, meditation can help you solve problems. Meditation helps you see problems as moments in your life that need to be changed. Meditation can show you that these problems can be used as a place for growth and expansion of where you are and where you want to be. I used to view problems and hurdles and quite often ran away from them.
Now I see them as a place for learning and growth. When I first decided to become a professional musician, I encountered an enormous problem. How was I going to feed myself? This was a major factor as music is a hard business to make money in.
I then thought how do I become valuable to other people, and saw this as a challenge rather than a problem. At that time in the music world, bass players were worth their weight in gold. The good ones were at least.
I brought a couple of books to learn the theory of music and scraped my pennies together. Then I enrolled in a course to get myself familiar with all the different types of music I was interested in. I ended up playing with some of the top blues players, jazz players, rock players and pop players around me at that time and I had become valuable.
This taught me that when you put yourself in a position to serve and to help, you then become respected and hired for your professionalism and knowledge.
Meditation Helped Me To Solve My Problems Of Career Change
After my music career had faded, I then had another problem. How was I going to feed myself? De ja vue. I had been here before. When I started to learn Qi Gong and then started teaching this to elderly community centres, and then onto business and schools. I realised that all the knowledge I had accumulated over the years was serving me well.
I was really helping people profoundly change. This made me look deeper into the mind body connection, where I have experienced so many different ways to get you to that problem-solving position. This helped me decide to set up the Bright Beings Academy to teach Qi Gong. I also created the Dream Method for people who want to get deeper into themselves.
