What Are The Essene Mirrors?

November 15, 20246 min read

When we look in the mirror, what do we see? Do we see something that is amazing, phenomenal, supernatural even? Or do we see something that is unworthy, overwhelmed with life, or just simply damaged?

Our ancestors saw this world as a reflection of the reality happening inside of us. What we see in the mirror is what we have been feeling about ourselves in the not-too-distant past. These feelings reflect into our lives and keep us where we are.

So, What Exactly Are the Essene Mirrors?

The Essene Mirrors come from a spiritual group known as the Essenes. They are a set of seven principles from antiquity, offering a unique lens through which we can view and understand our interactions, reactions, and internal dialogues.

The Essenes had a very sophisticated understanding of interpersonal human relationships and the role of emotion in those relationships. They believed that by understanding these mirrors, we could unlock our thought patterns, let go of negative emotions, and achieve a higher level of consciousness.

The Seven Essene Mirrors

1. The Mirror of the Moment

This mirror reflects what you are at the present moment.

Think of it like this: Your emotions are like a pair of glasses you wear. When you're happy, the world looks bright and sunny. When you're sad or angry, everything seems gloomy. This mirror is all about understanding how your current mood affects the way you see the world and interact with others.

2. The Mirror of Judgement

This mirror reflects what you judge.

Have you ever heard the saying, "When you point one finger, three fingers point back at you?" That's what this mirror is all about. It suggests that when we judge someone, we are actually seeing something in them that we don't like about ourselves.

For example, if you judge someone for being lazy, it might mean that you're struggling with procrastination yourself!

3. The Mirror of What We Lost, Gave Away, or Had Taken Away

This mirror reflects what was taken away from you.

Imagine you meet someone who is incredibly confident. You might find yourself admiring them and wishing you had their self-assurance. This mirror suggests that the qualities we admire in others are often qualities that we have lost touch with in ourselves.

Maybe we had them as children but lost them along the way, or perhaps we never fully developed them.

4. The Mirror of Forgotten Love

This mirror reflects patterns of a lost love.

Have you ever started a new job and found yourself comparing your new colleagues to your old ones? Or maybe you keep comparing every new person you meet to your ex? This mirror is all about recognizing patterns in our relationships.

It suggests that when we are irritated by a behaviour we once admired, it may be a sign that we have distanced ourselves from that trait within our own personality. It invites us to explore why we might have let go of these values and to consider bringing them back into our lives.

5. The Mirror of Father/Mother

This mirror reflects your relationship with your parents.

Our parents are our first role models. They teach us about the world and how to interact with others. This mirror suggests that our early relationships with our parents can influence how we interact with authority figures later in life, like bosses or teachers.

For example, if we had a very critical parent, we might be more sensitive to criticism from our boss.

6. The Mirror of the Dark Night of the Soul

This mirror reflects your dark night of the soul moments.

This one might sound a bit scary, but it's actually about finding strength in difficult times. Everyone goes through tough periods in their life. This mirror suggests that these challenges can be opportunities for growth. They force us to look deep inside ourselves, confront our fears, and find new ways to cope.

7. The Mirror of Self-Perception

This mirror reflects our ultimate self-perception.

This mirror is all about how we see ourselves versus how others see us. Sometimes there's a difference between our self-image and the way others perceive us.

This mirror invites us to be more self-aware and to ask for feedback from others so we can understand how we come across.

How Can We Use the Essene Mirrors?

If you're feeling stuck in life or like you're repeating the same patterns over and over again, the Essene Mirrors can help you understand why. By looking at your relationships and the things you judge in others, you can start to see yourself more clearly and identify areas where you need to grow.

The Essene Mirrors are a powerful tool for self-discovery and transformation. They can help you to:

  • Become more self-aware. By understanding how your emotions and past experiences shape your perceptions, you can start to see the world more clearly.

  • Improve your relationships. By recognising that the people in your life are mirroring back aspects of yourself, you can develop more compassion and understanding for them.

  • Let go of negative patterns. By identifying and understanding your negative patterns, you can start to break free from them and create a more positive life.

  • Live a more authentic life. By embracing all parts of yourself, both the light and the shadow, you can live a more authentic and fulfilling life.

A Major Step of Transformation

This is one of the major steps for transformation and change. We need to be aware of ourselves and what is happening inside of us to see this. Most people in the world today don’t bother. They feel that this is it, and that is final. Nothing could be further from the truth.

If you stand in front of the mirror and see a confident, intelligent being who knows what they want and where they are going, that is what is going to reflect back to them. And with perseverance, this will manifest into your life.

My question to you is, ‘What do you reflect back from the mirror?’

How Do You See Yourself From The Inside?

Your self-image is the mental picture you have of yourself, which has been conditioned from years of living in this material world. The way you walk, talk, meet and greet other people is all influenced by your self-image. And it is often one of the biggest stumbling blocks to living our best life.

The amazing thing about your self-image is that it can be changed. But how? I reveal how I did this in my free self-image webinar. Click the link below to watch the free webinar and earn how you can change your self-image.
