By the time you reach this stage of the Dream Method, something important has already begun. You have started to notice your emotional patterns. You have begun to understand where they come from.
Now we move into a different kind of work.
The Embrace stage is not about analysing your emotions. It is about allowing them to exist safely in the body.
Many people try to solve their feelings through thinking. But emotional healing often begins when we stop trying to control what we feel.
Instead, we gently create the conditions where emotions can soften and move. This is why the practices on this page focus on the heart and nervous system.
Through gentle tapping, heart-centred breathing, Qi Gong movement, and reflective journaling, you are giving your body permission to relax into compassion rather than resistance.
There is nothing you need to force here. Your only task is to meet yourself with patience and kindness as you practise.
As you move through this stage, you may wish to capture what you notice in your Meraki Journal, where you can gently reflect on your experiences as they unfold.
The Dream Method works best when approached slowly.
Take your time with each practice and move through the stages at a pace that feels supportive for you.
Discover → Realise → Embrace → Actualise → Master
You are currently on Day 3 of 5 - Embrace - (Accept)
The intention of today’s step is to meet your emotions with compassion rather than resistance or judgement. This stage softens the inner relationship you have with yourself.
The Dream Method Pathway is practised as a five-day cycle, moving through one step each day, followed by two days of rest.
During the Embrace stage of the Dream Method, the focus gently shifts from understanding your emotions to allowing them. Earlier in the journey you began to notice your emotional patterns, and you may have started to understand where some of those patterns come from.
Now the work becomes quieter and more compassionate. Instead of analysing your emotions, you begin learning how to meet them with kindness and patience.
During this stage you may begin to notice:
A greater awareness of emotions in the body, particularly around the chest and heart area
Moments where feelings arise without needing to immediately explain or fix them
A growing ability to stay present with emotions rather than pushing them away
Small shifts in how quickly emotional tension softens when the body feels safe
A deeper sense of compassion toward yourself as you practise regularly
The Embrace stage is not about forcing emotional change. It is about creating the conditions where your emotions can be felt safely, without judgement or resistance.
Over time, many people notice that when emotions are welcomed rather than suppressed, they begin to move more freely through the body.
This gentle shift is an important part of the healing journey.
In the Embrace stage the focus shifts from understanding your emotions to meeting them with compassion.
During this stage you will practise:
All-Over Body Tapping — to maintain emotional safety
Heart-Focused Qi Gong Flow — to invite softness and compassion into the body
Five-Minute Box Breathing — to breathe gently into the heart space
Reflection in your Meraki Journal — to practise kinder inner dialogue
This stage helps you replace self-criticism with self-compassion and acceptance.
Today’s step in the Dream Method is Embrace.
These practices support you in meeting your emotions with compassion and acceptance.
During the Embrace stage you may notice emotions becoming clearer or more present. This does not mean anything is going wrong.
It simply means you are allowing yourself to experience feelings that may have been pushed aside for a long time.
The purpose of this stage is not to force healing, but to meet what arises with kindness and patience.
Take your time with the practices and allow yourself to move through them gently.
This practice helps create emotional safety as you begin meeting your feelings with compassion.
Allow the tapping rhythm to relax the body.
Slow flowing movement encourages openness and kindness toward your emotional experience.
Move gently and allow the body to soften.
Breathing calmly into the heart space supports emotional balance and acceptance.
Follow the rhythm softly and comfortably.
Follow the moving dot around the square. Breathe in, hold, breathe out, then hold again. Keep the breath gentle and within your comfort.
If you feel lightheaded at any point, soften the breath or pause and return to normal breathing.
Now, sit quietly for a little while. Let the practice settle. Simply observe what is present in your body, thoughts, and emotions.
When you feel ready, write a few honest notes below. Keep it simple. This is about noticing gently.
Journaling during the Embrace stage is not about analysing your emotions or trying to solve them. Instead, it is about allowing your feelings to be acknowledged with kindness and honesty.
Earlier in the Dream Method journey, you began noticing emotional patterns and gaining insight into what may have shaped them. Now the invitation is softer. Rather than asking why you feel something, you are simply giving your emotions permission to be seen.
This kind of gentle reflection can help emotions move through the body more naturally. You might notice sensations in the chest, a shift in your breathing, or a feeling that is difficult to name. All of these experiences are welcome here.
Your journal becomes a quiet space where you can meet yourself without judgement.
You may wish to reflect on simple questions such as:
• What emotions are present for me today?
• Where do I notice these feelings in my body?
• Can I allow this emotion to be here without trying to change it?
• What would self-compassion look like in this moment?
There is no need to write long entries. Even a few honest sentences can create space for emotions to be recognised and gently embraced.
The Dream Method Practice Tracker is available if you would like a simple way to stay consistent with your practices.
Some people enjoy using the tracker to mark each day they practise. Others prefer to move through the exercises at their own pace.
Both approaches are perfectly welcome. The tracker is simply a support tool, not something you must complete.
Many people use it alongside the Meraki Journal, using the tracker to follow their practice rhythm while using the journal to reflect on what they notice and experience.
Use whichever approach feels most supportive for you.
You have now reached the Embrace stage of the Dream Method. At this point in the journey, something important begins to shift. Instead of struggling against your emotions, you are learning how to meet them with patience and compassion. This simple change can gradually transform the way you relate to yourself.
As you continue practising over the coming weeks, you may notice that emotions begin to feel less overwhelming. When the body feels safe and supported, feelings often soften and move more freely.
There is no need to rush this stage. Allow the practices to become familiar, and give yourself time to settle into the rhythm of the work.
In the next stage of the Dream Method, we move into Actualise, where the insights and emotional openness you have developed begin to translate into small, meaningful changes in how you live and respond to life.
For now, simply continue with the practices on this page and allow your experience to deepen week by week.
When you feel ready, continue to the next stage of the Dream Method.
Some people enjoy exploring this pathway independently. Others find that a supportive conversation helps them understand their patterns more clearly.
If you would like a calm space to explore where you are in your journey, you are welcome to book a Soul Reconnection Call.
During this conversation we look at the patterns shaping your life and how you can move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
